Go to the My Computer icon. Open it and choose DialUp Networking. This opens the window shown below to help you set up a new connection.

Fill in the name you would like the new connection information to be saved under and
the type of modem you have. If you need to configure you modem hit the Configure button. The screen that opens up will allow you to set the port and the speed of your modem. More advanced changes are available and you should consult the manual for your modem before you change anything. Keep in mind that you can connect to the CIA with default settings in the more advanced areas. Click Next |

All you have to do in this new box is enter the area code and phone number of the
information service you would like to call. In this case, to call the CIA you enter the
POP number given to you by us. Click Next In the new window that pops up, Click Finish. |
Now there will be a shortcut using the name you type in earlier. Double click on it, and a connection will be opened, and you will be prompted for a login and password.
